James T. Wood, 39, of Sterling; 4:04 p.m. Thursday at Kohl’s, 3200 E. Lynn Blvd.; Carroll County warrant for contempt of court; posted $200 cash bond. Arrested at the same time was Sylvia J. Wood, 41, of Sterling; retail theft; given notice to appear in court.

Isiah D. Ryals, 29, of Sterling; 5 p.m. Thursday at West Seventh Street and Avenue B; Whiteside County warrant for aggravated battery; posted $200 cash bond.

Aubree N. Chattic, 21, of Sterling; 8:06 p.m. Thursday at East Third Street and Ninth Avenue; no insurance, expired driver’s license; given notice to appear in court.
