Prophets pull away from Storm

The Prophetstown Prophets remained undefeated in Three Rivers North play, hitting the road and beating Bureau Valley 62-41 on Thursday night.

The Prophets (17-2, 5-0) trailed 11-10 after one quarter, but put the game away with a 39-15 run over the next two periods.

Karlie Stafford scored 16 points, while Corrie Reiley had 12 and Clare Kramer finished with 11 for Prophetstown. Reiley hit four 3-pointers, while Heather Strike hit two 3s and chipped in eight points as 10 different Prophets scored in the game.

Darcy Kepner had 12 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals for the Storm (7-9, 0-4). Valerie Reuter added 10 points and six boards.

Amboy 45, Fulton 31: The Clippers allowed just 14 points through the first three quarters in a Three Rivers North win in Fulton.

Kaitlyn Liebing had 13 points, and Delaney Wilhelm scored 11 for Amboy (10-4, 4-1), as eight Clippers scored.

Jordan Price's 11 points paced the Steamers (3-14, 0-4).
