Patricia ‘Pat’ Phillips

AMBOY – Patricia “Pat” (Fyke) Phillips, 67, of Amboy, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at Hillside Rehabilitation and Care Center in Yorkville.

She was born Nov. 21, 1946, in Chicago, the daughter of Wilbur and Mary Fyke.

Pat enjoyed traveling and camping. She enjoyed being with her family immensely and with her beloved dogs, Rosey and Sadie. Pat was a member of the Women of the Moose, Allheart Moose Chapter.

Pat is survived by her husband, Lawrence; her children, Teresa “TA” Ehlert, Paul (Lynn) Ehlert, Brian Ehlert, Stacie Williams, Bridget Ehlert, and Charles Ehlert; an adopted son, Joe (Tracy) Hengels, 11 grandchildren, her sisters, Kathryn (Sam) Cumbo, Lorrie (Rick) Wojtowicz, and Micki (Don) Bohnert; and her brother, Jim (Joanne) Fyke.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Ehlert.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Moose Charities, c/o Mooseheart School.

Pat’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Hillside Rehabilitation and Care Center and Season’s Hospice for their loving care.
