Information sought on hit and run accident; 12:24 a.m. Tuesday, Locust and West 14th streets; driver disregarded stop sign and struck rear passenger side of another vehicle; gave name as “Jimmy Kruger,” then drove away, turning onto West 13th Street. Suspect vehicle: black, four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan Maxima; likely has major damage to rear passenger door. Suspect: white male, approximately 21 to 26 years old, short brown hair, possible lip ring.

Accident on Route 2 Monday

Earleen Hinton, a woman injured in an accident Monday night on state Route 2, just north of Dixon, was released from KSB Hospital at approximately 4:35 p.m. Wednesday.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Department did not have additional information to release Wednesday, but said details could be available today.
