Association has five scholarships

The Rock River Valley Tooling and Machining Association offers five $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors graduating in the spring.

Those applying must live in Ogle, Whiteside, Boone, Stephenson, and Winnebago counties or Rock or Walworth in Wisconsin; be a citizen or documented permanent resident of the U.S.; intend to study in a manufacturing technology or engineering related major in a community, technical or 4-year college.

To apply, the student should write an essay stating his or her interest in a manufacturing industry career, what led the student to this decision, and the applicant’s career goals after college graduation.
