Polo graduate to lead department

POLO – Mark A. McGuire, professor of lactation biology at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, recently was appointed department head of animal and veterinary sciences within the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.

He also has been named a Fulbright Scholar and is spending the semester as a visiting scientist at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, Sweden.

McGuire is a 1980 graduate of Polo Community High School.
