Emily Quaco rolled a 561 for the Dixon girls bowling team as they remained unbeaten in Northern Illinois Big-12 play with a 2,957-2,864 win at Mardi Gras Lanes in DeKalb.
Ashley Currier (515) and Jenna Longan (503) were also over 500 for Dixon (5-0 NIB 12, 40-10 conference points), which won six of the 10 league points.
Sterling 2,954, Rochelle 2,785: The Warriors got back on track after a pair of losses with a NIB-12 win over the Hubs at Blackhawk Lanes.
Destinee Howard started off right with a 264 first game. She followed that with games of 172 and 216 to amass the high-series of 652. Teammate Magan Tintori improved each game to finished with a 540. Erin Tabor added a 524 for Sterling (4-2).
Marina Eraas rolled a 550 series for Rochelle.
DeKalb 3,809, Dixon 3,415: The Dukes' Ryan Dixon rolled a 721 series while teammate Joel Spangler had a 701, but it was not enough at Mardi Gras Lanes in DeKalb.
Ryan Dixon had a high game of 258, and Spangler a 255. DeKalb won all 10 conference points.
Fulton 54, Goose Lake (Iowa) Northeast 28: The Steamers lost four of the six contested matches but rode seven forfeit wins to victory at Fulton.
The Steamers' contested wins came on pins by Sam Grant at 152 pounds and Zack Jenkins at 220.
Panthers take two: Jared Cole (145) and Nick Williams (182) each posted a pair of pins to lead Erie-Prophetstwon to a pair of home wins, 45-23 against Putnam County/Hall and 51-27 against Rockridge.
