NAPERVILLE (AP) — Authorities in suburban Chicago say two people are dead in a house fire.

Naperville officials say a neighbor called fire fighters on Wednesday morning to report flames and smoke at a two-story home. Fire fighters responded and found the bodies of two people in the rear of the home. Officials did not release a cause of the blaze.

Three other people were taken to hospitals, including a 21-year-old man in critical condition. An 84-year-old man and 56-year-old woman also were taken to the hospital.

Authorities say the DuPage County coroner and Naperville fire investigators were on the scene. Fire fighters from more than a half-dozen suburban departments assisted.
