Shawn E. Perales, 21, of Sterling; 9:35 p.m. Thursday on Fourth Avenue; felony criminal damage to property; taken to Whiteside County Jail.

Dixon Police

Morgan L. Ferguson, 20, of Amboy; 7 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of South Hennepin Avenue; Lee County warrant for theft; posted bond and was released.

Donald L. Helfrich Jr., 30, of Dixon; 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of Franklin Grove Road; Lee County warrant for failure to appear; taken to Lee County Jail.

Matthew T. Watley, 21, of Amboy; 1:42 a.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue; driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, operating uninsured vehicle; released with notice to appear in court.

Whiteside County Sheriff

Jennifer A. Oncken, 33, of Rock Falls; 12:49 a.m. Friday in Lyndon; improper lane usage, two counts of driving under the influence, unlawful possession of a controlled substance – cocaine, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle; taken to Whiteside County Jail.

Lee County Sheriff

16-year-old boy; 6:32 p.m. Thursday; criminal damage to property; released to his parents.

Ogle County Sheriff

Robert S. Vermeis, 33, of Monroe Center; Thursday; warrant for motion to increase bail – home invasion; given notice to appear in court.

State Police

Ernesto G. Serna, 41, of Rockford; 10:58 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 39 in Ogle County; no valid driver’s license, no insurance; issued I-bond and given notice to appear in court.

Cydney M. Jones, 18, of Dixon; 3:21 p.m. Wednesday at state Route 2 and Wolverine Road in Lee County; failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident; given notice to appear in court. Arrested at the same time was Sharon L. Strow, 40, of Dixon; Ogle County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving under the influence; held at Lee County Jail and given notice to appear in court.

Leticia S. Valdivia, 48, of Elgin; 8:32 a.m. Wednesday on state Route 38 at Brooklyn Road in Ogle County; driving too fast for conditions; issued I-bond and given notice to appear in court.

Joanna R. Daniel, 21, of Galesburg; 12:55 p.m. Wednesday on Interstate 88 in Whiteside County; speeding, driving while suspended; issued I-bond and given notice to appear in court.

Krystal R. Partridge, 48, of Rock Falls; 6:48 a.m. Wednesday at state Route 40 a half-mile south of U.S. Route 30 in Rock Falls; driving too fast for conditions; posted driver’s license as bond and given notice to appear in court. A truck driven by Partridge lost control in snowy conditions, striking a car driven by Warren Gagne, 27, of New Durham, N.H. Partridge and a passenger in Gagne’s vehicle, Joseph T. Peters, 63, of Beverly, Mass., were taken to CGH Medical Center in Sterling. Their conditions were unavailable Friday. Gagne refused treatment.
