The Polo Marcos remained undefeated on the season Thursday, traveling to Orangeville and returning home with a 93-52 romp over the Broncos.
AJ Dollmeyer scored 18 points for the Marcos (6-0, 2-0 NUIC East), who scored 29 points in the first quarter, then topped that with a 30-point third period.
Zach Quaco added 15 points, Matthew Handel scored 14, Brian Cavanaugh chipped in 12, and Brad Cavanaugh and Max Simmons each finished with 11 in a balanced Polo attack.
Milledgeville 81, South Beloit 38: Seven Missiles scored at least eight points in an NUIC East rout on the road.
Blake Kappes had 13 points, seven rebounds and four steals, and Caleb Skoog added 11 points, eight boards and four blocks as Milledgeville (8-0, 3-0) stayed unbeaten.
Kameron DawTyne, Jordan Harris, and Zach Herin scored nine points apiece, and Zach Schmidt and Lucas Ebersole each added eight as the Missiles led 19-5 after one quarter and 40-13 at halftime. DawTyne dished six assists, Schmidt grabbed six rebounds, and Harris nabbed four steals.
Rockford Lutheran 75, Oregon 50: The Hawks trailed 18-12 after one quarter, but a 27-point blitz by Lutheran in the second period essentially put away a Big Northern West win.
Jessie McKinley scored 12 points for Oregon (2-5, 0-2), and Billy Heeg chipped in nine.
Eastland 56, Scales Mound 42: Dalton Shaner's 22 points led the Cougars to an NUIC West road win.
Blake Janssen added 12 points, Skylar Paulson scored 10, and Marshall Fink chipped in nine for Eastland (3-1, 2-0), which led 28-12 by halftime.
Warren 63, West Carroll 43: The Thunder fell behind 18-5 after one quarter and never recovered in an NUIC West loss on the road.
Trevor Jones' 11 points led West Carroll (1-6, 0-2). Devin Pax paced Warren (4-3, 2-1) with a game-high 19 points.
Newman 40, Fulton 36: The Comets used a 17-11 fourth-quarter edge to win a Three Rivers North game in Fulton.
Bree de Long scored 12 points to pace Newman (3-6, 3-1), while Aubree Schmitt and Mary Alice Oswalt scored seven points apiece. Schmitt added seven rebounds and three assists, and Julie Hurd chipped in six points and nine steals.
Betsy Leonard led Fulton (1-6, 0-3) with 12 points, and Kerrigan Enloe finished with 10.
Morrison 48, Bureau Valley 38: The Fillies' Chelsea Eads scored six of her 10 points in the fourth quarter, when Morrison outscored the Storm 16-5 to earn the Three Rivers North home win.
Lakin Goodman scored a game-high 16 points for the Fillies (5-4, 1-4), who trailed 33-32 heading into the final period. Teammate Emma Melton added nine points.
Helena Arnadottir scored nine points and Heaven Bennett seven to pace BV (4-6, 0-3).
Riverdale 40, Erie 39: Sydney Mericle poured in 29 points to lead the Rams (6-5, 3-2 Three Rivers North) past the Cardinals in Port Byron.
Rachel Cobert scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to pace Erie (5-4, 2-2), which led 12-9 after one quarter and 26-20 at half. Riverdale outscored the Cardinals 12-4 in the third quarter to take a 32-30 edge into the fourth quarter.
Courtney Cobert added seven points and 10 rebounds, and Bryce McCormick six for Erie.
Cornerstone 30, Faith Christian 22: The Falcons were outscored 23-12 in the second half of an NICC loss in Sycamore.
Sarah Smith scored 10 points to pace Faith (4-3). Abby Hill's game-high 13 points led Cornerstone.
