State Police

Kyle R. Witt, 25, of Byron; 11:38 p.m. Monday, state Route 251 and Twombly Road, Ogle County; driving while license suspended; posted bond.

Dennis L. Stehl, 70, of Lee; 6 p.m. Monday, McGirr and Paw Paw roads, Lee County; accident, improper lane usage.

Sterling Police

Tyler D. Bressie, 22, of Sterling; 10:44 p.m. Monday, 100 block of East LeFevre Road; Lee County warrant for failure to appear – contempt; taken to Lee County Jail.

Ogle County
Sheriff

June B. Gibson, 52, of Missouri; Monday, Ogle County warrant for driving while license suspended; did not post bond, given notice to appear in court.

Nelson A. Ellis, 25, of Cambridge, Wis.; 3:36 p.m. Monday, 11,000 block, north state Route 2; Boone County warrant for failure to appear, driving while license suspended, no insurance, expired registration and operating a vehicle when registration suspended for no insurance; taken to Ogle County Jail.

Oregon Police

At 7:59 p.m. Nov. 22, Oregon Police responded to the parking lot of the Oregon Elementary School in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street, regarding three motor vehicles that had been broken into. Unknown subject(s) forced entry into the vehicles and stole several items. The vehicles were broken into while two athletic events were occurring. Anyone with information is asked to call 815-732-2803, as the investigation is ongoing.

Cody R. Ward, 25, of Rochelle; 1:13 a.m. Dec. 2; possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of possession of a hypodermic needle; taken to Ogle County Jail.

John M. Hasselton, 53, of Rochelle; 11:54 a.m. Dec. 3, 700 block of East Washington Street; no valid driver’s license.

Andrew M. Robertson, 22, of Mount Morris; 7:31 p.m. Dec. 4; outstanding warrant; taken to Ogle County Jail.

William G. Brown, 74, of Byron; 11:05 a.m. Thursday, 400 block of Gale Street, accident; improper lane usage.

Katherine L. Petrusa, 27, of Byron; 6:55 p.m. Thursday, 300 block of North Fourth Street; operating a vehicle with an expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Brandon L. Sims, 20, of Rockford, 3:41 p.m. Thursday; driving under the influence of drugs and/or a combination of drugs, possession of cannabis less than 30 grams, and disobeying a traffic signal; taken to Ogle County Jail.

Female juvenile, 14, of Oregon; 6:34 p.m. Friday; runaway; released to parent with referral to state’s attorney’s office for juvenile delinquency.

At 8:48 a.m. Friday, Oregon Police responded to a burglary at Oregon Pizza Hut, 404 E. Washington St., where forced entry was made into the building and an undisclosed amount of money was taken. Oregon Police believe the burglary occurred sometime between the hours of 2 and 6 a.m. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police at 815-732-2803.
