OREGON – David J. Cremer, 71, of Oregon, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at his home.
David was born Oct. 26, 1942, in Oak Park, the son of Robert and Barbara (Marxsen) Cremer. He married Cairns Walton on July 27, 1963. She died Nov. 5, 1985. He married Dusty Lauer on May 24, 1997, in Oregon. Dave was a graduate of Freeport High School. He retired from a career in sales. He lived in Oregon for the past 25 years, moving from Stillman Valley.
Survivors include his wife, Dusty Cremer of Oregon; daughters, Terrill (John) Fenicle of Roscoe, Susanne (Robert) Dalton of Stillman Valley, and Stephanie (Jason Hammer) Haugh of Mount Morris; son, Todd (Cara) Haugh of Chicago; and grandchildren, Ashley and Cami Dalton, Rob Fenicle, Tyler, Nora, Rory and Gabe Hammer, and Lyla and Mabel Haugh.
He also was preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering in celebration of David’s life will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Mount Morris Moose Lodge. Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home in Oregon is handling arrangements.
