November Student of the Month

Polo student of the month Miguel Dominguez.

Miguel Dominguez, 17, a senior at Polo Community High School, is the November Student of the Month. He is the son of Ana and Jamie Dominguez. His brothers are Juan, Berto, and Daniel. 

Favorite class: Physical education

Top teacher: Jason Kamp, advanced placement physics 

Extracurricular: Football, drama club

After graduation: I plan on going to college and majoring in mathematics, so I can teach at the high school level some day.  

Favorite movie: “Remember the Titans” 

Favorite food: Anything my grandma makes. 

Biggest fear: Losing 

Least favorite class: Computer class 

Hobbies: Playing sports 

What is one tip you would give freshmen?  Do not be intimidated, because it will probably turn out to be better than you might have anticipated.  

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? Down to state with the rest of the football team to win Polo’s first state title.  

Trading places: Mr. Faivre, so I could put in the dome he promised our football team my sophomore year.

What would you do with $100,000? Invest it and make more.
