LYNDON – Nora Glazier, 81, of Lyndon and Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center in Prophetstown, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. She worked as a bookkeeper for Gibson Oil Co. until retiring.

Nora was born April 23, 1932, in Morrison, the daughter of Perry and Betty (Clementz) Upton. She married Floyd W. Glazier on April 28, 1951, in Prophetstown. He preceded her in death Dec. 5, 1995.

Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth (Dale) Timmons of Lyndon; one son, Stanley (Phyllis) Glazier of Congerville; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by three sisters, Norma Scott, Betty Jane Bollman, and Alice Maronde.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday and the funeral at 11 a.m. Monday at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Morrison, with the Rev. Paul Nolden, pastor of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church, officiating. Private interment of cremated remains will be at Lyndon Township Cemetery in Lyndon.
