AFC Student of the Month

Lea Koning, 17, a senior at Ashton-Franklin Center High School in Ashton, is the September Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Matt and Sue Koning, and the sister of Cassidy, 15, and Lane, 9.

Extracurriculars: NHS, Student Council, volleyball, basketball, softball, and FFA

After graduation: Attend the University of Wisconsin in Platteville to major in ag business.
