Transit meeting is Dec. 9 in Sterling

STERLING – A summit on transit and transportation services will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Dec. 9 in the kitchen at Whiteside County Senior Center, 1207 W. Ninth St.

The meeting is for people from Henry and Whiteside counties involved with human and social service agencies, and with an interest in public transportation. The Bi-State Regional Commission will organize the meeting, about the group’s transit development plan.

Affected regions are Henry, Mercer, Rock Island, and Whiteside counties in Illinois, and Muscatine and Scott counties in Iowa.
