THOMSON – A Chadwick man died Tuesday after being involved in a head-on car crash Monday morning.

Police said Zachary Isenhart, 25, died Tuesday at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, Iowa.

According to a news release from the Carroll County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to an accident about 6 a.m. Monday on Argo Fay Route, east of Scenic Bluff Road, north of Thomson.

Authorities said that a vehicle driven by Blake Price, 34, of Thomson, crashed head-on into a car driven by Isenhart. The collision caused a chain reaction involving two other cars – one driven by Bob Almasy, 38, of Lena, and another driven by Devon Bausman, 21, of Lanark.

Price and Almasy were taken to Mercy Medical Center in Clinton, Iowa.

The accident remained under investigation, the sheriff's department said.
