Thank you to those on the ‘other side’

Published: Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 1:15 a.m. CDT

I would like to respond to Don and Sheryl Noble [“Letter writer speaks out, earns respect,” The Reader’s Voice, Nov. 20] and Charles Becker [“Writer expected bitter hostility,” The Reader’s Voice, Nov. 16] by saying “amen” and “thank you.”

Sheryl, your experience at County Market points to a huge difference between the two “sides.” The gentleman who helped you said that he wouldn’t have done so had he known you were “from the other side.”

Those of us who have the great joy of being from that “other side” would have helped him with no regard as to what “side” he was from.

May you be blessed as you follow the way of truth and true love.
