College president stepping down

MONMOUTH (AP) – The president of Monmouth College in western Illinois has announced that he will be leaving at the end of the academic year.

WGIL-AM in Galesburg reported that Mauri Ditzler has been with the college for 9 years but has accepted a new position. Ditzler will be president of Albion College in Michigan.
