Jarrod Uthoff scored a season-high 19 points as Iowa beat Penn 86-55 on Friday night in Iowa City, Iowa.

Devyn Marble added 13 points and a career-high five steals for the Hawkeyes (5-0).

Darien Nelson-Henry scored 13 points to lead Penn (1-3).

Iowa forced a season-high 25 turnovers – 17 in the first half. The Hawkeyes finished with 14 steals and 30 points off turnovers.

No. 18 Connecticut 59, Indiana 58: Shabazz Napier scored 27 points, including 11 over the final 7 minutes, to lead UConn to a win in the championship of the 2K Sports Classic Benefiting Wounded Warrior Project in New York.

Napier’s driving basket with 1:34 left to play turned out to be the final points of the game.

Indiana turned the ball over twice, and Yogi Ferrell missed a jumper in that span. Napier missed a 3-pointer and was called for an offensive foul in the hectic finish that had the crowd at Madison Square Garden standing for the final 90 seconds.

Northwestern 63, IUPUI 61: JerShon Cobb hit a running pull-up in the lane with 2.3 seconds left to give the Wildcats a comeback win in Evantson.

Northwestern took a 59-55 lead with 2:29 left on three Dave Sobolewski free throws, but IUPUI rallied and tied the score on a pair of Mitch Patton free throws with 20 seconds left, setting the stage for Cobb’s heroics. Cobb got the ball on the left wing and drove to the lane just inside the foul line before pulling up for the shot. The ball bounced off the rim and backboard before dropping through.

Cobb finished with eight points on 4-for-13 shooting. Drew Crawford led Northwestern (3-2) with 12 points, all in the second half, and Sobolewski added 10.

No. 14 Michigan 82, Florida State 80: Nik Stauskas scored 26 points, including seven in overtime, as the Wolverines erased a 16-point second-half deficit to beat Florida State at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.

Derrick Walton Jr. added 15 points, and Mitch McGary had 14 points and 12 rebounds in his third game back from a back injury

Michigan (4-1) will play in Sunday’s game against Charlotte, which beat Northeastern 86-77 in the other semifinal.
