Area restaurants aid tornado victims

STERLING – Area restaurants will join forces Monday to donate the first $10,000 in proceeds for the day from all of their locations to help victims of the Washington, Ill., tornado.

All Angelo’s, Arthur’s Garden Deli, and Candlelight Inn sites are taking part in the fundraiser. An account, named Support Washington, has been set up at all Sauk Valley Bank locations for donations to be made. Checks can be made out to Support Washington.

All proceeds and donations will be given to families in need in Washington. Call 815-590-2674 for more information.
