Items sought for tornado victims

DIXON – Kreider Services, Secure Recycling Services, and radio station WIXN are coordinating a donation drive for victims of the Washington tornado from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday outside of Radio Shack, 170 Keul Road.

Applequist Farms will donate a semitrailer to collect and transport the items. Members of the Dixon High School Student Council will help to load and unload donations. Marc Heuerman, owner of the Dixon Radio Shack, and his family live in Washington and have been affected by the tornado.
