Urban Outlet is planning to move from Northland Mall to this location at 309 and 311 First Ave. in downtown Sterling, according to city documents.

STERLING – Urban Outlet, a clothing store at Northland Mall, appears to be moving downtown.

The store is seeking city approval for a zoning change to the Bollinger Building at 309 and 311 First Ave.

According to city documents, the store is seeking to encroach on the Light Street Alley to install code-compliant stairs to the first floor.

Work already is underway on the building.

The owner, John Brady, couldn’t be reached Thursday for comment.
