Conference focus includes strategies

DIXON – An Administrative Professionals Conference will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 9 in the east mall at Sauk Valley Community College, 173 state Route 2.

Four breakout sessions will be offered. Topics include computer tips, change in management, multitasking, meeting planning, leadership, working with difficult people, and social media.

Administrative professionals and community leaders will share successful strategies, ideas, and advice.

Amy Viering, senior business relationships manager at Wells Fargo, will give the keynote presentation during lunch.

The conference will close with a “relaxation session.” There will be free gifts and drawings.

The cost is $99, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch. The conference is for secretaries, administrative assistants, administrative professionals, and similar professions.
