Anti-cancer event at CGH was a success

Published: Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013 1:15 a.m. CST

Thank you to everyone who participated in, watched, voted for, and supported CGH Medical Center’s first-ever Pink Glove Dance for Breast Cancer.

After a hard-fought dance battle and nearly 600,000 votes nationwide, Medline announced that Geisinger Health System, Danville, Pa., was the winner of the 2013 Pink Glove Dance video competition.

Although we didn’t win, CGH brought in a respectable 2,529 votes, placed 48th out of 108 participating hospitals nationwide, and had a great time raising awareness for breast cancer.

For more information on all category winners and participating hospitals, please visit www.pinkglovedance.com. Thank you again for your support.

Note to readers: Rebecca Green is the marketing and media coordinator for CGH Medical Center.
