After the fire, a holiday spirit in Prophetstown

People walk past the Christmas trees planted recently in an area in downtown Prophetstown where some of the eight buildings destroyed by a fire July 15 once stood. The trees were planted Nov. 7 and decorated Monday with about 2,000 lights. The lights will be turned on and synced with Christmas music at 10 a.m. Nov. 30.
