Girl, 16, of Oregon, and girl,17, of Mount Morris; 6;02 p.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of South Galena Avenue; retail theft; released to their parents. Arrested at the same time was Cydney R. Long, 18, of Oregon; retail theft; given notice to appear in court.

Michael D. Miller, 62, of Dixon; 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of West Third Street; domestic battery, aggravated assault, resisting a peace officer; taken to Lee County Jail.

Paul C. Caudillo, 24, of Sterling; Wednesday in the 200 block of South Hennepin Avenue; Lee County warrant for failure to appear; taken to Lee County Jail.

Lien Q. Dang, 45, of Sterling; 6:59 a.m. Tuesday at Sixth Avenue and East 14th Street; failure to yield at a stop intersection; posted $120.

Rachel J. Sedgwick, 23, of Sterling; 1:01 p.m. Tuesday at Freeport Road and Fourth Street; speeding; posted driver’s license.

James T. Yohnka, 28, of Walnut; 1:31 p.m. Tuesday at Freeport Road and Fourth Street; speeding; posted driver’s license.

Elena L. Celestino, 48, of Sterling; 3:57 p.m. Tuesday at Griswold Avenue and West LeFevre Road; failure to yield at a stop sign, driver’s license not on person; given notice to appear in court. Arrested at the same time was Amanda S. Forbes, 32, of Sterling; no valid driver’s license, operating a vehicle with an expired registration; given notice to appear in court. According to Sterling Police, Celestino was driving north on Griswold Avenue when she failed to yield and entered the intersection, colliding with Forbes’ vehicle, which was westbound on West LeFevre Road. A juvenile passenger in Forbes’ vehicle was taken to CGH Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Ogle County Sheriff

Brandi Farve, 20, of Rochelle; 4:52 p.m. Tuesday at state Route 251 and Bethel Road; failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after striking vehicles driven by Kyle Myers, 21, of Kings, and then James Taulbee, 51, of Franklin Grove. Myers and Taulbee were taken to Rochelle Community Hospital by Rochelle Ambulance.

George A. Londowski, 41, of Belvidere; Tuesday; theft; taken to Ogle County Jail.

James N. Salazar, 23, no town listed; Tuesday; warrant for failure to appear; taken to Ogle County Jail.

Vicki R. Napier, 55, of Pearl City; Tuesday; warrant for failure to appear; posted $325 bond and given notice to appear in court.

John Woodson, 22, of Rockford; Tuesday; warrant for failure to appear and a petition to revoke warrant; given notice to appear in court.

Xavier Thomas, 23, of Rochelle; Tuesday; two warrants for failure to appear; given notice to appear in court.
