Church will host musical guest

MOUNT MORRIS – The Rev. Rich Rubietta of Grayslake will lead worship at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 1 at Disciples United Methodist Church of Mount Morris, 102 Maple Ave.

He is a United Methodist pastor, workshop consultant, and songwriter.

The service will include singalongs and original scripture-based songs and stories. The public is welcome.

A family worship concert will be at 12:30 p.m. with a mixture of faith and pop songs, after a potato bar fundraiser for Sarah Melvin’s January mission trip to Honduras.

Rubietta’s books will be available for purchase, and CDs and cassettes can be ordered.
