Woman dies after Polo car crash

21-year-old was from New Mexico

POLO – A New Mexico woman died Saturday after a car accident in Polo.

The Ogle County Sheriff’s Department would provide no details of the accident.

Melanie R. Wagner, 21, had family in Polo. According to her Facebook page, she worked at Cracker Barrel in Albuquerque and went to high school in Australia for a time.

Arrangements are pending with Polo Family Funeral Home.
