MILLEDGEVILLE – Sally Sue Dusing, 57, of Milledgeville, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at Freeport Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, after a long and hard battle with breast cancer.

Sally was born Feb. 28, 1956, in Sterling, to Russell and Mabel (Miller) Klitz. She worked as a secretary for many years for Ken Nelson. Sally enjoyed going to auctions, and was an avid collector of antiques. She loved animals, and loved to garden.

Survivors include one daughter, Lisa (fiancé Adam Ehredt) Dusing of Milledgeville, and their children, Payten and Rayden Ehredt; and one son, Benjamin (fiancee Wendy Phillips) Dusing of Milledgeville, and their children, Riley Dusing, Max Phillips, Mason Phillips, Reid Phillips, and Taylor Murphy. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son in infancy.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday and a memorial service will be at noon Tuesday at Dutchtown Church of the Brethren in Milledgeville, with the Rev. Rick Koch officiating. McDonald Funeral Home in Milledgeville is handling arrangements.

A memorial has been established.
