Forreston 4-H club members trick or treat in Wisconsin

FORRESTON – The Forreston Friskies 4-H Club met Oct. 7 at the Forreston Township building. The meeting was called to order by Haley Cuthrell. Pledges were led by Layla Cuthrell. The treasurer’s report was given by Daniel Ludwig.

New club officers are Haley Cuthrell, president; Ashleigh Brown, vice president; Daniel Ludwig, treasurer; Payton Cuthrell, historian, Layla Cuthrell, recreation; Ethan Shores, sentinel; and Kendal Kuelling, reporter.  

October was Fire Safety Month and every member gave a safety talk.

Members made treats for local firefighters.

The window display was up for National 4-H Week. Haley Cuthell was the chairwoman. The theme was “4-H, Making a Lasting Impact.”  Club members took a field trip Oct. 27 to the zoo in Madison, Wis. Layla Cuthrell was the chairwoman.

Enrollment forms are due in December. The cost is $20. Members will bowl Jan. 5.  Local achievement night will be Jan. 19.
