Healthy cooking tips course offered

DIXON – The University of Illinois Extension will have a cooking class for heart health from 10 a.m. to noon Monday and Nov. 18 at Grace United Methodist Church, 921 E. Chamberlin St.

“Meals for a Healthy Heart” is designed for anyone interested in preventing or managing heart disease.

In each session, participants receive recipes, watch cooking demonstrations, taste foods, and learn about proper diet and exercise.

The cost is $10, which covers both sessions and includes food and supplies.
