STERLING – The public can vote through Nov. 8 for a CGH Medical Center dance video to help the hospital in its attempt to win $25,000 for women’s health.

Almost 200 CGH employees with pink gloves have learned short dance routines. Videos of the dances have been combined into a 90-second music video to the song “Change the World” by Outasight. The video was entered into the Medline Pink Glove Dance competition, with a $25,000 prize.

If CGH receives the money, it will be donated to the CGH Health Foundation’s Women’s Health Program, which offers year-round breast and gynecologic cancer education and services.

CGH also is selling paper breast cancer ribbons for $1, in honor or memory of someone with breast cancer. The ribbons will be hung around the hospital and clinics, and proceeds will go to the foundation. Ribbons can be bought in the hospital lobby, 100 E. LeFevre Road, or at the CGH clinic lobby, 101 E. Miller Road.
