LA MOILLE – Harry O. Molln, 85, of La Moille, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.

Harry was born Sept. 17, 1928, at home, in rural Van Orin, the son of Elmer and Dora (Hefner) Molln. He was united in marriage to Arlita Murray on Jan. 24, 1951, in Sterling. She preceded him in death on Aug. 20, 1994. He then married Beverly Meister on Sept. 20, 1996, in Eau Claire, Wis. She preceded him in death on Nov. 4, 2005. He went to grade school at the Molln Schoolhouse and graduated from Ohio High School in 1946. Harry farmed and raised livestock in the Van Orin area during his lifetime. He was a member of First Lutheran Church of Ohio.

He is survived by two sons, Alan (Debra) Molln and Richard (Theresa) Molln, both of La Moille; one daughter, Sandy (Joe) Carpenter of Ohio; five grandchildren, Corinne (Jeremy) Kulik, Jessie Carpenter, Brandi Molln, Aubrey Molln, and Thomas Molln; two stepgranddaughters, Jennifer (Mike) Sullivan and Melissa (Mike) Slusarek; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, both of his wives, and one brother.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bache Chapel in Van Orin. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gene Vincent, pastor of First Lutheran Church of Ohio, officiating. Burial will be at Van Orin Repose Cemetery. Garland Funeral Home in Walnut is handling arrangements.

A memorial fund has been established to First Lutheran Church of Ohio.
