Donna Beth Cline

OREGON – Donna Beth Cline, 82, of Oregon, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013.

She was born July 24, 1931, in Chilton, Wis., the daughter of Marlin and Bernice (Farley) Frihart. She graduated from Oregon High School. She married Nelson L. Cline on Sept. 3, 1950, in Oregon. He died in 2002. Nelson and Donna farmed in the area for many years.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and birds. She attended New Life Assembly of God. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She called herself a “Kelly Girl,” and worked in Oregon at Cook’s Collection and Kaczmarzyk Insurance.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Rebecca (David) Duke of Oregon; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Abigail; sister, Ruth Crook of Hubert, N.C.; and many nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by her son, Dennis; sisters, Georgia and Jane; and brothers, Keith and Bob.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 110 S. Seventh St., Oregon. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Demmer officiating.

A memorial fund has been established.
