MORRISON – Gerald L. “Doc” Mance, 64, of Morrison, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at his home. He owned and operated Mance Chiropractic in Morrison for 35 years.

Doc was born Oct. 8, 1949, in Chattanooga, Tenn., the son of Wiley L. and Florence (Newman) Mance.

Survivors include one nephew, David McGhee of Phoenix.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Peggy and Patricia; and one brother, Thomas.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by a Masonic service, Nov. 8 at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Morrison. There will be no funeral, per Doc’s wishes. Interment will be at Forest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga. Cremation rites have been accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donors’ choice.
