School taking part in anti-bullying program

AMBOY – Amboy Junior High School staff members with the YWCA of the Sauk Valley are coordinating the “Biggest. Assembly. Ever,” a live online event at 11:30 a.m. today.

The program is being held by “Mean Stinks,” a group that opposes bullying among girls. Amboy Junior High will have an assembly to present the program. Featured participants are recording artist Zendaya, from “Dancing with the Stars” and the Disney Channel’s “Shake it Up, Chicago,” and Alexis Jones, founder of the “I Am That Girl” website.
