MORRISON – A fundraiser for a Morrison woman fighting stage 4 breast cancer will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Cochran’s Pub, 13464 Galt Road.

Kimberly Jones, 47, was diagnosed June 30 with the disease, which has spread to other parts of her body. She is undergoing chemotherapy at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. She has two children, Dustin Jones, 23, and Taylor Prescott, 21.

Kimberly is employed by Walmart Distribution Center, but is unable to work. Proceeds from the benefit will help her with financial obligations.

There will be no cost at the door. Food will be sold, and a silent auction, door prizes, and several raffles will be available. Lewis Berry, a co-worker of Jones, will be the disc jockey.

Call Berry at 815-616-0975 for more information about the benefit.
