New Girl Scout CEO from England

Fiona Thomas Cummings, MA, PMP, LEED Green Associate, is the new chief executive officer for Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois.

She was born in Surrey, and was a Girl Guide in the United Kingdom from age 7 to 18. Cummings has lived in the U.S. for 13 years, and worked for British Petroleum.

Her goals are to increase volunteer and girl recruitment, community partnerships, and improve resources for current volunteers.

Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois serves the following local counties: Carroll, Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside.
