MARYVILLE – Susan Lynn Bunger Andreas, 60, of Maryville, passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at her home.

She was born June 15, 1953, in Rochelle, the daughter of Milford and Nancy (Horton) Bunger. Susan graduated from Oregon High School and attended Rockford Business College. She married Michael E. Andreas on May 20, 1972. She retired as an administrative assistant for Triad School District 2. Susan loved traveling, gardening, being outdoors, visiting the Missouri Botanical Gardens, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of Troy United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband; her son, Bryan (Carrie) Andreas of Edwardsville; her daughter, Janna (Dan) Pettus of Glen Carbon; four grandchildren, Amira, Jax, Gia, and Kai; her parents, Milford and Nancy Bunger of Ashton; two brothers, Michael (Cindy) Bunger of Oregon and Matt Bunger of Williamsville; her sister, Teresa Bunger of Bartlett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday and the memorial service at 4 p.m. Friday at Troy United Methodist Church, 407 Edwardsville Road, Troy, with the Rev. Dennis Price officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Missouri Botanical Gardens, 4344 Shaw Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63110.
