Harris leads Warriors

Kiarra Harris had six kills and six blocks to lead the Sterling volleyball team to a 25-13, 25-17 win at Ottawa on Tuesday.

Also for the Golden Warriors (24-6, 4-3 NIB-12 West), Kaylee Martin had three kills and two aces; Brooke Williams had four blocks and two aces; and Darien Bardoner added 11 assists.

Oregon def. Winnebago 25-14, 25-16: Sommer Rhea had seven kills and Hailey Long added six digs for the Hawks in a home win against the Indians.

Also for Oregon (22-6-1, 8-2 Big Northern West), Delaney Mahoney had 13 assists and two blocks.

Erie def. Riverdale 25-15, 25-15: Savannah Mettler had nine kills and six digs, while Rachel Cobert added nine digs and eight kills to lead the Cardinals past the Rams.

Prophetstown def. Amboy 20-25, 25-17, 25-14: Karlie Stafford had 11 kills, seven digs and three aces as the Prophets earned a road win.

Also for Prophetstown (6-14, 4-7 Three Rivers), Claire Milnes had 11 kills, four aces and two blocks, and Clare Kramer added 10 kills and nine digs.

For the Clippers (10-14-1, 1-10), Hannah McCoy finished with nine digs, eight kills and and three blocks; Sydney Wilhelm had 11 digs, four kills and two blocks; and Elizabeth Ortgiesen added four kills.

Morrison def. Bureau Valley 25-19, 25-23: Payton Kennedy had nine digs and seven kills as the Fillies topped the Storm in Manlius.

Also for Morrison, Adrienne Banks had four kills, three digs and two blocks, while Brooke Ryan added 11 assists and seven digs.

AFC def. Polo 25-11, 25-11: Krista Beach had five kills and three digs to lead the Raiders past the Marcos in Ashton.

Also for AFC (9-10-1, 4-6 NUIC Upstate), Cassidy Koning had 12 points, three aces, three digs and two blocks, and Lexie Fore added five kills.

Boys soccer

Sterling 7, LaSalle-Peru 4: Tony Diaz had four goals and an assist as the Golden Warriors topped the Cavaliers in LaSalle.
