ROCK FALLS – Area public employees will serve drinks from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Long Shot Bar and Grill, 2213 W. Rock Falls Road, to raise money for Hometown Holidays.

All proceeds will be used for the Rock Falls holiday celebration, planned for Nov. 21-24 this year. Taking tips will be Mike Kuelper, Rock Falls Police chief; Bill Milby, Rock Falls Fire Department captain; and Joe Real, a paramedic with CGH Medical Center.

A 50/50 raffle winner will be drawn, with $2 for one ticket, $5 for five tickets, and $10 for 15. If more than $1,000 in tickets are sold, two winners will be drawn, with 40 percent going to Hometown Holidays, 40 percent to the first-place winner, and 20 percent to the second-place winner.

Call the Rock Falls Chamber of Commerce at 815-625-4500 for more information.
