2 found dead in small central Illinois city

HENRY (AP) – Police in central Illinois say two people are dead in a shooting in the small city of Henry in Marshall County.

Illinois State Police tell the Journal Star that authorities found a woman dead from a gunshot wound in a home on Friday morning. Police officers also found a man with a gunshot wound at the residence. He was still alive when they arrived, but later died at the scene.

Police did not immediately identify the victims. Henry has about 2,500 residents. It’s 35 miles north of Peoria.
