Annual cemetery walk on Sunday

DIXON – The sixth annual “Tales From Beyond the Grave” will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Oakwood Cemetery, 416 S. Dement Ave.

Walkers will visit the graves of Dixon historical figures, such as Esther Barton, Charles Walgreen’s parents, and Frank Lloyd.

The cost is $5. Proceeds will go toward headstone restoration and mausoleum maintenance.

Golf carts will be available. Tours will last about an hour and begin every 15 to 20 minutes. The last tour will start at 3:30 p.m. In case of rain, the walk will be rescheduled for Oct. 20.
