Women of the Moose prepare annual activities

STERLING – Sterling Women of the Moose members will have their annual bazaar Friday and Saturday at the lodge, 2601 E. Lincolnway.

Admission is free both days, and the bazaar is open to the public. Activities start at 4 p.m. Friday, with a fish fry from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Meal prices will depend on what attendees order. A cake walk will take place at 7:30 p.m., as will drawings.

A lunch will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, with a vendor show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. From 5 to 7 p.m., a turkey dinner with dessert and coffee will be served for $8. A pie-eating contest will take place, as will drawings. A kids’ corner with activities will be Saturday.

Baked goods will be sold both days. Grocery basket drawings, containing grocery staples such as canned hams and flour, will be drawn both days. Call the Moose Lodge at 815-625-0354 for more information.
