Boil order issued in Morrison

MORRISON – A boil order is in effect for Morrison residents living north of U.S. Route 30 after a water main break at Ash Avenue and Elm Street.

The order was issued Monday morning. People in the affected area are asked to boil their drinking and cooking water for at least 5 minutes. The order will be in effect until sampling shows that the water is safe.

Residents in the affected area will be notified when the order is lifted. They also can call Morrison City Hall at 815-772-7657 for more information.
