LOVES PARK – Mary Frances Fox, 75, of Loves Park, formerly of Dixon, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Alpine Fireside Health Center in Rockford.  

Mary was born Nov. 28, 1937, in Dixon, the daughter of Henry W. and Helen Marie (Patterson) Remmers. She married Wade Fox on Sept. 29, 1957, in Rockford. Mary was a member of Riverside Community Church in Machesney Park. 

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Wade Fox of Loves Park; two sons, David (Cami) Fox of Roscoe and Floyd (Carol) Fox of Machesney Park; one daughter, Aina (Mark) Carter of Louisa, Va.; and six grandchildren, Devon, Eric, Nathan, Jacob, Shayla, and Arabella.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one aunt, Inez Remmers.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday and the funeral at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon, with the Rev. Bobby Sheets, pastor of Riverside Community Church in Machesney Park, officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends are encouraged to donate to their choice of charity.
