ROCHELLE – A rural Rochelle man was being held Friday on $250,000 bond after officers found child pornography in his residence, police said.

Matthew K. Plumley, 30, was charged with distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography, both felonies. He was arrested after a search warrant was served by Ogle County sheriff’s deputies and a Sycamore Police Department officer, according to a news release.

The search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation, the release said, and the search revealed Plumley had both obtained child pornography from and sent it to various websites.

He was taken to the Ogle County Jail in Oregon and appeared in court, where his bond was set, the release said.
