The Clippers finished in sixth at 351. It's a far cry for a group of players that scored in the 400s a couple years ago at the Three Rivers Meet.

"Those were tough times," Kozeal said. "We have fun memories from then, but we are playing better now. I think we know that we could have shaved a few shots today and had more players finish in the 80s. I think the weather contributed to some of the scores being high today."

Morrison placed seventh with a 358. The Mustangs were led by Ben Tegeler, who shot an 87. Nick Kaufman added an 88.

"Ben really turned it on after the turn, which for him was the front nine," Sondgeroth said. "He shot a 39 after the turn after going 48 in the morning. I think a lot of players struggled with the wind this morning. Ben turned it around, and these conditions will be what they'll have to play in during the postseason."

Erie finished 12th with a 390. Koby Kuhnen led the Cardinals with an 89. Bureau Valley was 13th with a 394. Ryan Young and Logan Twidell both shot 91 for the Storm.

Prophetstown placed 15th with a 421. Grant Ames had the top score with a 97.
