Feedback sought on comprehensive plan

MORRISON – Whiteside County is seeking public feedback to help with the creation of a comprehensive plan for its development over the next 20 years.

Two public meetings are scheduled. The first will be Oct. 10 at the Whiteside County Board room in the county law enforcement center, 400 N. Cherry St., in Morrison. The second meeting will be in the Ryberg Auditorium at CGH Medical Center, 100 E. LeFevre Road, in Sterling.

Doors will open at 6:15 p.m., with an introduction to the planning process starting at 6:30 p.m. Among the meeting topics will be land use and development, transportation, economic development, housing, agriculture, and natural hazards.
